Alarm Will Sound, Alan Pierson

Land of Winter is Dennehy’s newest evening-length work, in which he explores the interplay of light and time across Ireland’s mercurial seasons of the year. It follows on from his two earlier acclaimed Nonesuch releases - 2019's The Hunger (another collaboration with Alarm Will Sound and Alan Pierson, and vocalist Iarla Ó Lionáird), and 2011's Grá agus Bás (Dawn Upshaw and Crash Ensemble, led by Alan Pierson).
