D.S. Robert McGraw, Special Branch, investigates why a professional assassin, trained by American Special Forces to kill enemies of the state would stoop to kill two low-life punks on the streets of London. McGraw soon discovers the killings have a sinister subtext and were for reasons that certain people in the Conservative Party don't want to be brought to light. What was it that happened in the 1970's that led to the two deaths and who wants it covered up? McGraw finds more than he bargained for and meets some very unpleasant people along the way.
