Steward ownership is a concept of long-term and purpose-driven business ownership. In Germany, the concept is currently implemented through companies and foundations. However, the coalition agreement of the current German government proposes a new designated legal form for steward-owned businesses. This volume presents a comprehensive draft bill for such a new legal form, offering food for thought for the legislature.
