This book provides a comparative study on the bankruptcy reorganization law of the US and China with the aim of establishing an efficient bankruptcy reorganization system in China. The underlying research question of this dissertation is: "Judged against the standard proposed by the creditors' bargain theory and compared with US law, what are the efficient and inefficient elements of Chinese bankruptcy reorganization law and how can it be improved?
