Zig Zag is a nostalgic look at the sixties and a young mans life and how he developed into a man. It's about his exciting times in high school as a running back and the difficulty he had dealing with his popularity. It's also about his dreams of becoming a famous race car driver. It was when he was just beginning to realize his dream of racing that he was drafted. He couldn't understand why Uncle Sam needed him so badly that it would interrupt his entire life. So he went to Vietnam where his dreams may have been completely destroyed. Through all the violence and watching his friends die all around him, it completely changed his personality. Now he had to deal with the guilt of surviving and finding his place in the world after the war.
