There are many textbooks of respiratory medicine. The purpose of Clinical Respiratory Medicine is not to duplicate these, but to provide something new and different. Its primary focus is on taking a history and eliciting and interpreting clinical signs. This has been achieved by extensive use of videos, photographic images, 3D animation and audio. Although it is not a reference textbook, the aetiology of many respiratory diseases are also covered.
