Short, high-interest readings provide ideas for writing, suggest ways to approach a topic, and illustrate strategies for organizing and presenting information. Each essay is accompanied by questions and assignments that guide students in analyzing what they have read and in composing their own essays. Students will experience success in their writing and will become more involved in learning; teachers will find the approach convenient and easily adaptable for their own course.
