Paper cutting, a traditional Chinese folk art, is part of China's rich cultural heritage. It was long considered an accomplishment for a young bride to be skilled in paper cutting, special patterns were passed down from generation to generation, and some families supplemented their incomes by selling their artwork.

Over 50 patterns are included in the book, some printed on coloured paper ready to be cut out. Other patterns can be photocopied, enlarged or reduced, and cut from the paper of your choice.
