More than just a line of buildings with a similar architectural look, these three creations by the Atelier d'Art Urbain Architects represent a real frontage alongside the canal in Brussels, Belgium, recalling not only the industrial, more port-influenced architecture of the surrounding district that you may expect from the proximity of the canal, but also the typically eclectic style to be found throughout Brussels. The buildings and projects in this book reveal how partners Sefik Birkiye, Dominique Delbrouck, Gregiore de Jerpanion and Christian Sibilde, have successfully married archietcture's role on land and its role on water, while at the saem time accentuating the building's civic life.
