The CLEP, or College Level Examination Program, is a college-entrance test battery given to adults who return to the classroom after an absence of several years-perhaps after working at a full-time job or raising a family.

This updated manual presents two full-length sample examinations in each of the following test areas: College Composition and College Composition Modular, Humanities, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences-History. All sample exams are provided with answer keys, a scoring chart, and answer explanations. Subject reviews are also presented for all test topics.
