Soundtrack for Netflix and Guillermo del Toro's 'Pinocchio', composed by Alexandre Desplat. In the film, Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro reinvents the classic story of a wooden puppet brought to life in a stunning stop-motion musical tale, featuring original songs with lyrics by Guillermo Del Toro and Alexandre Desplat. The film is based on Gris Grimly's design from his 2002 edition of the 1883 Italian novel 'The Adventures of Pinocchio' by Carlo Collodi. The characters are voiced by A-list talent including Ewan McGregor, Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton, Christoph Waltz, and more. Please note that this is not the family-friendly Disney version of Pinocchio, but a darker presentation of the classic story. Alexandre Desplat composed the film's score, as well as a number of original songs for the film. The film marks the second time Desplat and del Toro collaborated on a film, the first being 'The Shape of Water'.
